What is the important to know before operating system?
First time our need to know about Hardware and Software because operating system is a platform of computer.
What is Hardware?
Computer hardware refers to the physical parts or components of a computer such as the monitor, mouse, keyboard That we can touch with our hand from the computer that is called Hardware.




What is software?
Software is an aggregate of all programs that we cannot touch with our hand. It is against part of hardware, without software we cannot run in the machine.

 What would have been problem without operating system?
If you don’t installed operating system in your computer before application software so you could not installed application in your computer.

Why have been difference one computer screen with another computer screen?
If you installed an operating system in your computer but different operating system installed in another computer so don’t match between two computers screen?

Microsoft word


Ms word means Microsoft word is a part of Microsoft office Software Corporation. It is a important part of Microsoft office which is use for any problem solve in any office label, like Government or privet. If you don’t taken knowledge of Microsoft word, so you will be very difficult to work in another software. In this software we create a latter, application, any document. There we also find printing option that help printing any paper.

How to start Microsoft word ?

1 Click on start button.

2 Click on all program.

3 Click on Microsoft office.

4 Click on Microsoft office word 2007.

            Immediately a document page appears in the screen.

 

What we find in Microsoft word?

When we open Microsoft word then there will be find

1.Title bar (Like Document-Microsoft Word)

2.Menu Bar (like file symbol, Home, insert, page layout, Reference)

3.Sub Menu

4.Working Area.

5.Ruler bar.

6.Status bar.  

 

What is cursor?

When we open Microsoft word then there will be find a symbol remain that highlighted in the page that is called cursor.

 

How to insert any text in the document?

1.First time place the cursor in your page where you want to insert text.

2.Now type the text matter.
How to use new option ?
After type  your text if you want  a new  page then follow the steps
1.Click on file symbol .
2.Click  on new option
3.Click on blank document
4Click on create option .
Immediately a new document will be appears in the screen.


How to save a document ?
After type any text matter / object  if you want save this programs-
  1. Click on file symbol.
  2. Click on save as option.
  3. Chose the location where you want save this program .(Like- My document, Desktop)
  4. Type the file Name (In file name box)
Click on save option

How to open a file ?

  1. Click on file symbol .
  2. Click on open option .
  3. Chose the location where you save the file at before.
  4. Select the file which you want to open .
  5. Click on open option.
Immediately you will be find your page appears in the screen .

 

How to use save option ?

When you wish that after opening a file type any things in this document and  want to save with before file then follow the stapes-
  1. Click on file symbol.
  2. Click on save option.

Whhhhy we use print preview option?
If you want to show the page before printing then the print preview option is use.

How to use print option?

After complete your type then
  1. Click on file symbol .
  2. Click on print of print option.
  3. There we will be found a dialog box appears in the screen ,here
  4. All option is use  to print all page.
  5. Current page option is use to print only present page which page the cursor put you.
  6. Pages option is use just print to by page ranges (Like 1,3,5)
  7. Number of copies means how many page want to print out.
  8. Page per sheet means how many page print out per page.
  9. Scale to paper size is use which paper you want to print out its size.
  10. Click on ok.

 

How to make Auto Correct?

Some time we have common spelling mistake of a particular word to avoid this we can use this option .
  1. Click on file symbol .
  2. Click on word options.
  3. Click on proofing  option.
  4. Click on auto correct.
  5. Set the character in the replace box which character you want to link there.
  6. Set the character in the with box that you want to show in your page.
  7. Click on add option
  8. Click on ok .Ok.
  9. Place the cursor in your page where you want to show this link word
  10. Type the word this word typed in replace box .
  11. Press Enter.

 

How to save a file with password?

  1. Click on file symbol.
  2. Click on save as option.
  3. Chose the location where you want to save .
  4. Type the file name .
  5. Click on tools button .
  6. Click on general options.
  7. Type the password in password  to open box.
  8. Type the another password in password to modify. Click ok.
  9. Set the same password in the reenter password to open.
  10. Set the same password in reenter password to modify.
  11. Click on ok .
  12. Click on save button. 

Cursor movement:

®                              1) To move one character Right.
¬                              2)To move one character Left.
­                               3)To Move one line Up.
¯                               4)To move one line Down.
Ctrl+®                     5)To move one word Right.
Ctrl+¬                     6)To move one word Left.
Home                        7)To move at the beginning of the current line.
End                           8)To move at end of the current line.
Ctrl+Home               9)To move at the beginning of the Document.
Ctrl+End                  10)To move at end of document.
Page Up                    11)To move one screen Up.
Page Down               12)To move one screen Down.

Select text through Key board?

Shift +®      1)To select one character Right from the current cursor position.
Shift+¬       2) To select one character Left from the current cursor position.
Shift+­                     3)To select text one line Up from the current cursor position.
Shift+¯                     4) To select text one line Down from the current cursor position.
Shift+End)               5)To select text till the end of line from current cursor position.
Shift+ Home                         6)To select text till the beginning of line from current cursor position.

How to copy  any text or object  and paste it another place?

  1. Select the text.
  2. Click on copy symbol of Home menu .(In the left corner side)
  3. Place the cursor where you  want to put your text
  4. Click on paste symbol of Home menu .(In the left corner side)
How to cut your text?
Select the text.
Click on cut option in Home Menu.

How to increase any text size?

  1. Select the text.
  2. Click on text size option of Home Menu (In the left corner side)
 Short cut :- ctrl+shift+> or ctrl+shift+<

How to make bold your text?

  1. Select the text.
  2. Click on bold option in Home Menu  B
  3. Short cut :- ctrl +shift+b

How to make Italic  your text?

  1. Select the text.
  2. Click on Italic option in Home Menu  I
  3. Short cut:- ctrl +shift+I

How to make under line  your text?

  1. Select the text.
  2. Click on under line option of Home Menu  U
  3. Short cut :- ctrl +shift+U
How change font style
1.      Select the text.
2.      Chose the any  font style from Home Menu (Like Times New Roman to Mnotype corsiva)

How to create bulleted list in your text?

  1. Select the text.
  2. Click on bulleted list option in Home Menu.
  3. Click on Define New Bullet.
  4. Click on symbol ..
  5. Chose any symbol.
  6. Click on ok

How to create Number list in your text?

  1. Select the text.
  2. Click on Number list option in Home Menu.
  3. Click on Define New Number Format.
  4. Chose any Number style.
  5. Click on Font option
  6. Chose any font / font colors.
  7. Chose any font size.
  8. Click on ok.
  9. Again click on ok.

How  change color any text?

Select the text .
  1. Click on font color button in Home Menu
  2. Chose any color

How to change line spacing after create a line?

  1. Select the paragraph.
  2. Click on line spacing button in Home Menu
  3. Chose a any line spacing number

How to create shading in your text?

  1. Select the paragraph .
  2. Click on shading option in Home Menu.
  3. Chose any shading color.
 After you will find a shadow color appears back side in your text.
How to search a word or text in your document?
If you don’t find a word in your list then follow the steps.
  1. Click on Find option in Home Menu.
  2. Type the word in the find what box.
  3. Click on find next .

How to use replace option?

You can replace an existing word by a new word .Example you want to change the word ‘come’ with ‘Go’
  1. Click on replace button of Home Menu .
  2. Type the wrong word in the find what box .
  3. Type new word in the replace with box.
  4. Click on Find Next button.
  5. Click on replace option.
  6. If you want to replace all wrong word then click on replace all.
  7. Click on ok.
  8. Click on close.

Ms Excel

 Ms-Excel is a Software and is a part of Ms-Office. It is used for calculation and logical operation. In excel we make Data entry, calculation for Block and panchyet label even Banking system, Like- Government may be privet label.



How to Start Microsoft Excel?
  1. Click on Start button.
  2. Click on All program.
  3. Click on Microsoft office.
  4. Click on Microsoft Excel.

What we find in Ms Excel environment?
1)      Title bar.(Book 1-Microsoft Excel)
2)      Menu bar(File symbol ,Home , Insert, Page Layout)
3)      Submenu (Symbols Under Menu bar)
4)      Formula bar (White area under sub menu)
5)      Name box (Left side of Formula bar)

What is Word Book ?
When you open Ms-Excel program then will be find minimize and maximize Close(x) symbol appears under Right corner side the title bar, there if you click on restore button then will be found a deferent page came down in the screen it is called Word book.

What is Spread Sheet ?
The spread sheet is the area of  Ms-Excel in which all the works are done. It is an Electronic Worksheet or Electronic spread sheet. It is made with 16384 Columns. (A,B,C.....Z,AA,AB....AZ,BA,BB.....BZ,-XFD)
and 1048576  rows (1,2,3-1048576) in a spread sheet. Ms-Excel is also known as spread sheet analysis program.

What is Cell?
The rectangular intermediate region between a column and a row is known as a cell.
So there are total cell 16384 * 1048576=17179869184

What is Cell Pointer?
When we open Excel program then we find a rectangular box always remain highlighted in the spread sheet. This highlighted box is called cell pointer. If you wish to enter data in cell then the cell pointer move to that particular cell.

Formula Bar:
Formula bar shows the  contents of the selected cell. If any result is derived by a formula or function  then the formula bar shows the formula which was use to find that result in the particular Cell.

How to move in Excel spread sheet?
To input or edit data in Excel Spreadsheet we need to move from one cell to another cell. With the help of the following commands we can easily move to desired cell.

Ms-Access is software and is a part of Microsoft office Software Corporation. It is used by Clark or Hotel Manager even any company’s labor maintains. It is also called Relation Data Base Management System (RDBMS), because it can be store related information individual person with separately.
         
How to open Microsoft Access?
  1. Click on start button.
  2. Click on All programs.
  3. Click on Microsoft Office.
  4. Click on Microsoft Office Access 2007.
  5. Click on New Blank Database.
  6. Type the Database name.(Like-BDO Office)

After creating Database there you will be find a Table1: Table option appears in the left side.
